Losing Grip

This wasn't planned, all of a sudden there was a white dress, a colorful scarf and a story,

The sun was high up in the sky as we walked through the streets of Subic Bay. I can feel sweat trickling down my legs as we head for no particular destination. All I knew is that I needed, and wanted to take pictures. My friend Diane, was kind enough to allow me to take photos of her, but a beautiful surprise came as my friend Mary agreed to pose in front of the camera too.

What I learned from the short time I have been taking portraits of people is that they need time to get comfortable in front of the lens. There are too many insecurities at first, too much resistance. And so I thought of coming up with a story to help her.

I told her about letting go...losing grip.
I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
